The grandson of Polish immigrants who owned a prominent hotel in the Catskills, Jay Zises has deep New York roots. He earned his bachelor of arts in political science and history from New York University in the mid-1960s before embarking on a two-decade tenure with the New York City financial services firm Integrated Resources. Jay Zises’s work with Integrated Resources included co-pioneering its variable annuity endeavors.
A couple of years after leaving Integrated Resources as chairman of its executive committee, Mr. Zises became chairman of A Cap, Inc. Throughout his 30 years with A Cap, he has managed the assets of high-net-worth investors while providing capital funding to businesses with a focus on the ventures of young entrepreneurs.
Over the years, Jay Zises has supported civic and charitable initiatives ranging from soup kitchens to Israeli support organizations. He is a father of four and a grandfather to seven. He currently lives in New York City.
